Alabama to play LSU for title

Despite already playing once earlier in the year, the Alabama Crimson Tide will get another shot at the LSU Tigers in the BCS National Championship game.

Some expected Oklahoma State would get the honor of playing LSU after they thrashed Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game. A lot of fans wanted to see Oklahoma State over Alabama after the Tide played such a low-scoring game against the Tigers earlier in the season.

It’s important to remember that the championship game is supposed to feature the best two teams, even if the result could be a boring game.

While the Cowboys are explosive offensively, Alabama has the better overall team and is deserving of a spot in the title game. Tune in to see who takes the title on January 9, 2012, when the two teams face off at the Louisiana Superdome.
